Ernestos Mexican Specialties in San Antonio

Truly a pleasant experience. My wife and I celebrated one of our many anniversaries with Ernesto. Ernesto greeted us at the door, recommended a wine, and shared some of his experiences and history with us. His combination of quality food and personalized sauces are exquisite. The dessert, a cheesecake made by Ernesto and Cafe a la Ernesto was delightful. Please let Ernesto and his staff guide you through their arsenal of delights.

I will like to said that we felt warm in this restaurant,Ernesto him self introduce to us,treat us fabulous,the service provided to us was excellent,the food,the desert and the time spend in this restaurant was great,the memory gain from this place was priceless,from the moment we sat down on the table till the time we left we were speechless on how we felt having a great evening dinner at this restaurant,we will definitely consider this restaurant, Ernesto and his son made us feel like family.

I went last night with my wife on a whim to just try somewhere new and boy am I glad I went. we were greeted by Sergio and he gave a lovely description on the Steak San Antonio and the Red Snapper and that's what my wife and I went with. The Snapper was so crisp on the outside and just melts away when the velvet flesh touches your tongue. The steak was the same so tender, so juicy. Brilliant. (also came with a Enchilada Verde that has killer sauce.) I will be back one day for sure. Thank you for the lovely experience, Sergio and staff.

Interiors are normal, staff is very friendly and the menu is fantastic. It's a place for eating unique food at reasonable prices. Great for sea food.

Stopped by to check out the menu and the staff were very inviting! They took the time to explain each of the specials and get us paired up with some really great food. Very interesting twist on Mexican cooking style with many choices and ways to customize your order. Great service!

Old school family run restaurant that actually cares about customers and gets to know you. Unique blend of French and Mexican cuisine that you won't find anywhere else. A must try in San Antonio!

Ernesto's truly was an amazing experience from the time we got to the restaurant, till the time we left. We were greeted by both father and son. Everything about this restaurant was amazing.
